Spaniards in London is the first Spanish webseries made in the United Kingdom.

It tells the story of several Spaniards who emigrate to London in search of a better future.
The series mixes Spanish and English stereotypes in a comedy with musical touches.

The series was quickly shared on social networks in just 24 hours after uploading the first episode and it got more than 3,000 views in the first day. From there it jumped to national media that echoed in different formats. Television networks, digital and print newspapers, radio stations, etc., commented on the phenomenon of a series that, without a large budget, had an immense impact at a time when Spanish emigration was booming.

After living in London for a couple of years, I thought I could translate some of my experiences into a web series, and so I did. I outlined a series of characters to play with in each episode and a series of plots that would show the beginnings of several Spaniards in the British capital. I chose to show recognisable characters from emblematic Spanish areas, an Andalusian, a Catalan, a Galician and a Madrilenian.

In this project I enjoyed every detail since, besides being the creator, I was in charge of almost all the technical and artistic functions, which is known as One man band. This is how the project started, although I finished it with a larger team that helped me with some of the tasks.

A great effort that lasted for a year and a half that was compensated with several international awards and nominations.
